Z508
Description:
Z508 is a nickel-copper alloy (Monel) welding core, strong reductive graphite-based coating of cast iron electrodes. Its process performance and cutting performance are close to Z308, but due to larger shrinkage, cracking resistance is poor. Welded joints of low strength, it should not be used for the force of the site welding, can be used at room temperature or low temperature preheating (to about 300 ℃) gray cast iron welding. AC and DC.
use:
Used for welding of gray castings with low intensity requirements.

Welding current (A) | 50 ~ 100 | 70 ~ 120 | 110 ~ 170 | 140 ~ 190 |
Precautions:
1. Before welding electrode to be about 150 ℃ baking 1h.
2. Welding fortune to a narrow bead is appropriate, the length of each weld should not exceed 50mm, immediately after welding with a hammer gently hammering the weld to eliminate the welding area stress, to prevent cracks.
