Z238
Description:
Z238 is a low-carbon steel core, strong graphitized ductile iron electrode, due to the addition of a certain amount of nodulizer, the deposited metal in the graphite was precipitated during the cold, can be AC ??and DC.
use:
Used for welding ductile iron parts.
Deposited metal chemical composition (%)
| C | Mn | Si | S | P | Fe | Nodulizer | Other elements Total amount of primes |
guarantee value | 3.20 ~ 4.20 | ≤0.80 | 3.20 ~ 4.00 | ≤0.10 | ≤0.15 | margin | 0.04 to 0.15 | ≤1.00 |
Reference current (AC, DC + )
Electrode diameter (mm) | φ3.2 | φ4.0 | φ5.0 |
Welding current (A) | 80 ~ 120 | 130 ~ 170 | 160 ~ 190 |
Precautions:
1. Before welding electrodes to be about 250 ℃ baking 1h.
2. Welder before welding should be preheated to about 500 ℃, slow cooling after welding insulation, welding repair may be cutting.
3. Heat treatment specifications:
Normalizing: 900 ~ 920 ℃ insulation 2.5h, furnace cooling to 730 ~ 750 ℃ ??insulation 2h remove the air-cooled.
Annealing: 900 ~ 920 ℃ insulation 2.5h, furnace cooling to below 100 ℃.
